In October, Kim Kardashian West posted a picture of her husband, Kanye West, on the set of American Idol, bu it isn’t until now that we know why the rapper stopped by the three judges.
The show’s newest promo features rapper Kanye West auditioning for the talent show’s three judges, Harry Connick Jr., Keith Urban, and Jennifer Lopez. In the audition West performs his hit Gold Digger which has a lyric that says: “My psychic told me she have an ass like Serena, Trina, Jennifer Lopez.” Do we need to mention how much J-Lo loved his audition?
During his audition, the then pregnant Kim Kardashian West played the typical supportive family member outside the judges’ room while speaking Ryan Seacrest. She told the host: “I’m not really nervous because I do really believe in him. I didn’t give any advice on singing, rapping. I just really believe in him.”
After the audition West received the famous golden ticket which would typically give a person access to the next round in Hollywood. Watch his audition below:
