TNT has brought HBO's True Blood to their network, 15 years after the original premiered on cable television.

I've never seen True Blood before, so here are my first impressions.
Ryan Kwanten is HOT AS FUCK. Goddamn.
Bill the Vampire is ugly.
Anna Paquin is great as Sookie.

Everyone fawning over Sookie got tiresome, though I guess they explain that later because she some kind of fairy/vampire catnip. But still. I can't remember the character's name, but I liked the bawdy red head chick

Is Ryan really attracted to him, and does he become bi/gay?
And does that make Ryan's character's "toxic heterosexual masculinity" total bullshit because he's a closet case, or is he just attracted to this one male?

I had no idea Lois Smith is still alive, at 92!
I remember first seeing her in East of Eden, then in Minority Report, then True Blood.
She's such a good actress, and she was fantastic in True Blood.
