The Fourth of July is a massively popular holiday since it is the birthdate of America and it’s a celebration for the land of the free; our gorgeous country. It’s also a great excuse to have a long weekend, to spend entirely too much time in the sun and to have entirely too many cocktails while in the heat. My weekend was more than amazing. We spent the weekend at parties thrown by some of our best friends and family, and both parties were competitions. For a solid year now, two of the men in our lives have been in competition to see whose fireworks show is the most impressive; and I’ll tell you that they are both far more impressive than any fireworks display I’ve ever seen a city, town or professional put on.
We’re talking 15-20 minutes of nonstop fireworks without delay, amazing displays and hundreds of people at their homes to see it. They should really charge people to show up for this because you won’t find a better show anywhere else. We loved it, our kids loved it; everyone loves it every single year. Of course, we were not the only ones enjoying our amazing weekend. Celebrities were all over the place enjoying their own and showing off what fun they were having to the rest of the world via their Instagram photos.
