Kenya Moore is reportedly returning to Real Housewives of Atlanta for Season 12, but things are going to be different this time around. Insiders say that Bravo has cut her salary down from $1.5 million to $500,000, and she will get a lot less screen time unless she can bring the drama. Why would Moore accept such a drastic pay cut?

According to Radar Online, Moore is facing some serious money trouble, and she had to take what she could get from Bravo so she could pay a $150,000 tax lien that has been hanging over her head since late 2017.

Court records from Fulton County, Georgia, show that Moore owes the state $152,678.36 and the assessment is from November 20. 2017. The Fulton County Clerk of Court says that as of May 31st, the lien has not been released, which means that Moore has yet to pay up.

Bravo fired Moore in the summer of 2018 after she secretly married Marc Daly without an RHOA camera crew and for months she refused to share details of her relationship on the show. It got to the point that some of her co-stars wondered if the marriage was real or if Daly even existed.

However, after a one-season absence, Moore is getting a second chance, but she isn’t guaranteed full-time status unless she ditches the diva behavior and starts sharing her life in Atlanta with viewers, which is the entire premise of the show.

“Her status is up in the air until filming is over, and they see what she delivers,” says an insider.

“Kenya needs to share everything this season if she wants to be back full-time.”

Moore isn’t the first member of the RHOA cast to have problems with the tax man. Porsha Williams paid a $240,000 tax lien earlier this spring after the government hit her with the bill in March. And, at one time, NeNe Leakes owed $1 million in back taxes, but she has taken care of that debt.

Cameras recently caught Kenya Moore filming with Williams, Cynthia Bailey, and Marlo Hampton at the Atlanta Ultimate Women’s Expo. And, if the former beauty queen does actually let viewers into her private world this season, they should get the chance to see her living life as a new mom to baby Brooklyn.
