Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are dealing with some serious family issues after her brother Nick blasted them in a new video, going after Tyler in particular for his treatment of Catelynn. The Lowell family has been at odds after the recent visit with Carly, though it seems like there’s much, much to this story.

Yikes, this is quite the family matter!
After some recent social media drama, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are the subject of a new video that makes some serious criticisms against the Teen Mom stars.
Her brother Nick Lowell went off particularly hard against Tyler for his treatment of Catelynn during their marriage and their time on MTV.
According to him, this all started after their recent visit with their daughter Carly. After the meeting, Catelynn posted a screenshot on Instagram of messages from her grandma Judi.
Nick started his video, “Last week my family— and all of our problems— went viral on social media after my sister leaked screenshots out of context, that [were] posted to her Instagram with nearly 5 million followers.”
One of the major points of contention in those messages seemed to be that her mother April chose to drink a beer at the visit with Carly despite struggling with alcoholism in the past.
In his breakdown of the situation, he took issue with this.
“I don’t like our mom being vilified when she had one beer when everyone else around her was drinking, which you know is a trigger for her,” Nick stated.
The 17-year-old went on to defend April’s actions and criticize how Catelynn handled it.
Nick addressed his sister, “Mom loves you, and your children. She even babysits them whenever you want her to. All she asks in return is for you to not vilify her on TV or social media.
“She has done everything that she can to repair the relationship she once had with you that was ruined because of TV.”
Although his support of his mother is admirable, it does seem like Nick is willing to diminish the damage that his mom did to Catelynn and their family over the years.
